At MVCSC, we strive to engage, educate and empower our students and an active school counseling program is one important component of that effort. All FES students work with the school counselor on a regular basis through classroom guidance lessons. These engaging and effective classroom lessons focus on character development, conflict, bullying, career readiness, and many other topics. Some students may also work with the school counselor on an individual basis or in a small group setting to focus on more specific and ongoing needs.
Mrs. Crecelius has joined the FES staff as our new School Counselor as of January 1st, 2023. Mrs. Crecelius studied Elementary Education, Special Education, and School Counseling at Hope College and IUPUI, and has been in an education role since 2018.
