Principal's Message

I am both humbled and honored to be your principal and am thrilled to be a part of the FES and Mt. Vernon family since 2021. I love working with students, staff, and parents to create a community centered on student learning with an emphasis on the whole child. 

As a servant leader, I look forward to contributing my experience and expertise to build on the excellence of Fortville Elementary and will work hard each day to make a difference in the lives of others.   The focus of our dedicated staff remains on fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that values the dignity of every individual and encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.  We believe every student has unique talents and potential, and our goal is to help them discover and develop their abilities and passions to become well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens who positively impact their communities.
